With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Gary prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Zelg FC's Jonas Herz in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jagiellonia Denver's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Zelg FC's Stephan Eichenberger got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Jonas Herz sped through Jagiellonia Denver's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eric Gary. Eric Gary took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Herz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Herz in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Gary saved Jagiellonia Denver from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Jonas Herz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jagiellonia Denver's Eric Gary proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Jagiellonia Denver from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Jonas Herz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eric Gary was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michal Majdoch to make the kick off. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Jonas Herz put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eric Gary. Gilles Clerc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Gary having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Herz in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Gary saved Jagiellonia Denver from getting behind. After 68 minutes Zelg FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sun Lin who took care of the corner kick. Sun Lin made a great header on Jagiellonia Denver's corner, it was just that Zelg FC's Sepp Mainville managed to reach the ball for a save. If Jonas Herz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute, Gilles Clerc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Gary was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Zelg FC's Rodolphe Blazsovies was substituted for Irwin Monney. Jagiellonia Denver's Rodrigo Chap was substituted for Nicolae Costa. If Gilles Clerc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per-Olof Åkesson during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Jagiellonia Denver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Olof Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Jonas Herz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Gary was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 88 minutes into the game, Zelg FC's Jonas Herz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric Gary made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Jonas Herz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Gary having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Zelg FC had played much better football throughout.
