The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fellipe de Lima helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MONTANHA booed when Barrenta SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeu Brito came free, but Allan Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Tadeu Brito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Allan Félix was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 14th minute, Marcelinho Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guga Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Tadeu Brito kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Allan Félix. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Tadeu Britos short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Allan Félix to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Renatinho Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Cabral in the 30th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nilton Pinho during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Barrenta SC booed when MONTANHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 played minutes MONTANHA got a freekick which was hit by Tadeu Brito. Renatinho Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fellipe de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Barrenta SC's Luís Branco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renatinho Sousa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 44 played minutes, MONTANHA's Guga Paraíba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Allan Félix came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MONTANHA reached it. Murilo Mazza took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renatinho Sousa. Renatinho Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tadeu Brito to make the kick off. Renatinho Sousa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murilo Mazza in the 51st minute. MONTANHA's Renatinho Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fellipe de Lima in the 54th minute of play. Renatinho Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Branco in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Remo Falcão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barrenta SC's Allan Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Paraíba in the 60th minute of play. Renatinho Sousa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Branco went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Valdomiro Oliveira charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdomiro Oliveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in MONTANHA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Guga Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Allan Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guga Paraíba took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Allan Félix. Barrenta SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 79th minute, Marcelinho Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guga Paraíba might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Allan Félix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guga Paraíba ran back to his position shaking his head. Renatinho Sousa made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Murilo Mazza sent off a good shot on target. 85 minutes into the match, MONTANHA's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe de Lima came free, but Renatinho Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Barrenta SC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Murilo Mazza hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Fellipe de Lima got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Allan Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Brito in the 92nd minute of play. Barrenta SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
