Dedé de Toledo scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Vieira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Witold Gotfryd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Vieira was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Inazuma Japan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Witold Gotfryd was slow to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dedé de Toledo in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Vieira saved Inazuma Japan from getting behind. In the 24thth minute of the game Dedé de Toledo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inazuma Japan's Zé Vieira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zé Vieira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dedé de Toledo's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After 30 played minutes Inazuma Japan got a freekick which was hit by Adilson Ramalho. Ernesto Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the game, Witold Gotfryd cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Zé Vieira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abelardo da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Williamson having to interfere. Abelardo da Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Nicky Williamson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inazuma Japan. If Witold Gotfryd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Cardozo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Vieira having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabiano Moreira during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣ booed when Inazuma Japan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Witold Gotfryd made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Inazuma Japan's Zé Vieira got control of the ball when Dedé de Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣ fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣'s Dedé de Toledo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zé Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Gotfryd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣ were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Inazuma Japan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Witold Gotfryd took the corner. After a rather tough play, Inazuma Japan's Fabiano Moreira got a free kick in the 61st minute. Nicky Williamson had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Doriva Meirelles's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Doriva Meirelles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicky Williamson. ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doriva Meirelles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 68 minutes into the match, Inazuma Japan's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Gotfryd came free, but Zé Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 minutes Inazuma Japan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Witold Gotfryd who took care of the corner kick. Paulo Cardozo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The supporters of Inazuma Japan booed when ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dedé de Toledo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Gotfryd in the 75th minute of play forced Inazuma Japan's goalkeeper Zé Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
