Alexandre Pinheiro's late challenge caught a Sumaré Sport Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Pinheiro helped the player get up and apologised. Zé Trigo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giuseppe Veiga having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Chmelyk in the 11th minute of play forced ☯S̴K̴Y̴ ̴D̴R̴A̴G̴O̴N̴S̴™☯'s goalkeeper Giuseppe Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sumaré Sport Club booed when ☯S̴K̴Y̴ ̴D̴R̴A̴G̴O̴N̴S̴™☯ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olívio Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sumaré Sport Club's attentive Luís Fabiano de Sena managed to snatch the ball when Nilton Vinhas made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Zé Trigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giuseppe Veiga was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Trigo in the 15th minute of play forced ☯S̴K̴Y̴ ̴D̴R̴A̴G̴O̴N̴S̴™☯'s goalkeeper Giuseppe Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Olívio Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sumaré Sport Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olívio Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfred Chmelyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 30th minute Zé Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giuseppe Veiga came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sumaré Sport Club's Zé Trigo. But to his dismay, Zé Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 36th minute Zé Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Sumaré Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano de Sena to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, ☯S̴K̴Y̴ ̴D̴R̴A̴G̴O̴N̴S̴™☯'s goal looked a bit too open when Zé Trigo came free, but Giuseppe Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Olívio Matos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Giuseppe Veiga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Olívio Mello made the kick off in the second half. In the 50thth minute of the game Alfred Chmelyk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ☯S̴K̴Y̴ ̴D̴R̴A̴G̴O̴N̴S̴™☯'s Giuseppe Veiga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giuseppe Veiga made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Jessica Xerifão sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Giuseppe Veiga managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Sumaré Sport Club's Zé Trigo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Zé Trigo took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Giuseppe Veiga to make any attempt to save it. In the 65th minute, Zé Trigo made a precise shot to the right of Giuseppe Veiga. ☯S̴K̴Y̴ ̴D̴R̴A̴G̴O̴N̴S̴™☯'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Giuseppe Veiga made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Zé Trigo sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute Alfred Chmelyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Trigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Giuseppe Veiga made a huge save. Giuseppe Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Chmelyk in the 72nd minute of play. Sumaré Sport Club's Luís Fabiano de Sena quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nilton Vinhas, made in the 74th minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Olívio Matos notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of ☯S̴K̴Y̴ ̴D̴R̴A̴G̴O̴N̴S̴™☯'s Giuseppe Veiga. Giuseppe Veiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st minute of the game Nilton Vinhas made a throw-in which Ramiro Santos played forward. Giuseppe Veiga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sebastian Brun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 83 minute of play. Giuseppe Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Chmelyk in the 86th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Zé Trigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giuseppe Veiga. ☯S̴K̴Y̴ ̴D̴R̴A̴G̴O̴N̴S̴™☯'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Trigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. Sumaré Sport Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
