Thanks to some nice moves Zeledon Savion could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Florencio Cruz however easily saved by the left post. Florencio Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Savion, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Fulgencio Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Kelemen in the 12th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Aristide Ciuvică's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florencio Cruz was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Florencio Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeledon Savion in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aristide Ciuvică stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florencio Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Savion, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. CAM Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Kelemen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AC LeX Luthor's Hermenegildo Ventura was substituted for Zeledon Savion. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Peep Pronk replaced Aristide Ciuvică. CAM Football Club's Simon Izel was substituted for Arnaldo Idacio. In the 64th minute, Peep Pronk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC LeX Luthor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some careless play in the CAM Football Club defense, Peep Pronk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florencio Cruz. The CAM Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florencio Cruz should have stopped the shot. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save AC LeX Luthor from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute CAM Football Club were awarded a corner. Diego Ovando went to the cornerflag to take it. Florencio Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peep Pronk went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute Teofilo Kelemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The CAM Football Club fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when CAM Football Club's Simon Izel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 85th minute, Sakis Prasidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CAM Football Club's Florencio Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peep Pronk in the 88th minute of play. Florencio Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peep Pronk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute Peep Pronk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC LeX Luthor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
