With an all-out effort, Menchu FC's Franko Armani threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gabriele Batistuta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Franko Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 19th minute of the match. 23 minutes in the game Siro Osasun did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Peter Söderqwist. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by López Heredia in the 26th minute of play. Gabriele Batistuta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franko Armani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Camilo Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from López Heredia, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After some careless play in the Menchu FC defense, López Heredia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Salvidor. The Menchu FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Salvidor should have stopped the shot. Franko Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 38th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Gabriele Batistuta notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Teodelina FC's Franko Armani. Franko Armani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Basilio Guillerme in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Menchu FC's Abdoulay Doucouré. 47 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when López Heredia came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell López Heredia to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franko Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. López Heredia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Camilo Salvidor firmly grabbed it by the left post. 67 minutes into the match, Teodelina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Franko Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers López Heredia in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Salvidor saved Menchu FC from getting behind. Teodelina FC made a substitution. Cristian Buinton replaced Cristinel Buzoianu. Menchu FC's Herbert Pilarski was substituted for Peter Söderqwist. Teodelina FC's Elmo Jaanovits was substituted for López Heredia. In the 74th minute, Basilio Guillerme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franko Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 82nd minute of the match. Tomas Cordaryal hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, 郑辰康 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teodelina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but 郑辰康 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Salvidor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
