After having played for 13 minutes, Patryk Bartoszek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bears are Back's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patryk Bartoszek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Patryk Bartoszek came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Bears are Back fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patryk Bartoszek couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Granatowo-Bordowi's goal looked a bit too open when Patryk Bartoszek came free, but Millano Bartumeu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Bears are Back were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartosz Niemojewski during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patryk Bartoszek got free with Millano Bartumeu in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Patryk Bartoszek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Millano Bartumeu was relentless in the 60th minute of the game.
