It was a well-played corner which Theocharis Vrachos managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The supporters of Dżuwentus booed when Astra Zduny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Valdez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ziemowit Bentkowski in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blas Belarmo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Beniamin Wiater shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beniamin Brodzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Julian Jenkot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blas Belarmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziemowit Bentkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astra Zduny's Blas Belarmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Bentkowski in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugon Jaworski got free with Beniamin Brodzki in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
