The referee showed Marian Duda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes The Irons Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Marian Duda. In the 9th minute, Lorenzo Rocendo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Piotr Lech was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 11th match minute, Powiśle Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lech Popowicz to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Rocendo might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Piotr Lech. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Rocendo ran back to his position shaking his head. Piotr Lech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Rocendo in the 17th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Powiśle Warszawa were awarded a corner. Kazimierz Gaszynski went to the cornerflag to take it. After 23 played minutes Powiśle Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Miroslaw Blochowiak. 25 minutes into the match, The Irons Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Rocendo came free, but Piotr Lech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Irons Chorzów's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kazimierz Gaszynski was slow to take the kick. During this time Powiśle Warszawa's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Jerzy Hoffman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Irons Chorzów's Piotr Lech did a great save. 30 minutes into the match, Powiśle Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Pawel Kochanowski came free, but Boguslaw Siwek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Lorenzo Rocendo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Piotr Lech was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 42nd minute Pawel Kochanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Siwek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rdth minute of the game Maciej Bartelak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Powiśle Warszawa's Boguslaw Siwek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Piotr Lech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Rocendo in the 45th minute of the match. The Powiśle Warszawa supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Powiśle Warszawa would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
