In the 6th minute Casimiro Gonzales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Aguilera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Bazil came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Menchu FC's Luisito Flor. But to his dismay, Luisito Flor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Luisito Flor scored 2-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Bazil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Paulo Madaleno got a free kick in the 20th minute. Gavino Iliana did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Fabian Bazil 21 minutes into the match. Marlin FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Luisito Flor scored to the left of an out of position Fabian Bazil, making the score, 4-0. Paulo Madaleno hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Vicente Noe got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 35 minutes of play, Marlin FC's Eugenio Esdras made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafino Aguilera was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Marlin FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Oscar Bermund hit a great ball. In the 40th minute Wilfredo Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Aguilera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Menchu FC's Delmiro Porfirio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Delmiro Porfirio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Menchu FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Delmiro Porfirio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Menchu FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Delmiro Porfirio hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Tadeo Gilesindo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Luisito Flor made the kick off in the second half. Serafino Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Madaleno in the 54th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Madaleno got free with Serafino Aguilera in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Flor in the 62nd minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Fabian Bazil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute of the match, Oscar Bermund got a very nice opportunity to score, but Serafino Aguilera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 69 minutes, Jairo Montae mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menchu FC and the Marlin FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Flor in the 79th minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Fabian Bazil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Rudolfo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Fabian Bazil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Epifanio Mirande during the 88th minute. Menchu FC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Marlin FC. Fabian Bazil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Flor in the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Teyo.
