Jonathan Gitano started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Yupandú FC's Jose Refugio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faustino Odilon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Cordara in the 12th minute of play forced Yupandú FC's goalkeeper Luis Bastia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustino Odilon was a little too slow when Tomas Cebo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Yupandú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Gitano came free, but Luis Bastia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Guillen in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Teo Fero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yupandú FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Fero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Yupandú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Cordara came free, but Luis Bastia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teo Fero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Faustino Odilon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Gitano. When Jose Refugio came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Yupandú FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Refugio couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teo Fero made a kick off. Teofilo Izel kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. A collision led to DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jonathan Gitano hit a great ball. Luis Bastia was a little too slow when Jonathan Gitano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Yupandú FC's zone, Delmiro Guillen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Bastia came out of the goal and Delmiro Guillen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the match, DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Fero came free, but Faustino Odilon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Rodolfo Dalmu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Faustino Odilon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Refugio, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 81 minutes, Jose Refugio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yupandú FC and the DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Teo Fero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Bastia made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Jonathan Gitano sent off a good shot on target. DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
