Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) SAN LORENZO FC's Elias Tiso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of WINNING ELEVEN booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Tiso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulises Abel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Romelio having to interfere. A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gerardo Gonza hit a great ball. Nereo Rodas kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Eleuterio Oskitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, WINNING ELEVEN's Paulino Lizer got a free kick in the 17th minute. Gerardo Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Abel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulises Abel during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes WINNING ELEVEN got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Abel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Abel in the 27th minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Romelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Dalmai in the 34th minute of play forced WINNING ELEVEN's goalkeeper Celedonio Urtzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes WINNING ELEVEN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Federico Eleazar who took care of the corner kick. Eriberto Abeitia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celedonio Urtzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After 46 played minutes WINNING ELEVEN got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Abel. WINNING ELEVEN's Celedonio Urtzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Llanos in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulises Abel made a kick off. Gerardo Romelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Lizer in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, WINNING ELEVEN's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ermegildo Llanos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Celedonio Urtzi was a little too slow when Ermegildo Llanos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-1. Eriberto Abeitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Celedonio Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Fabricio Tipi replaced Elias Tiso. In the 62nd minute, Marcial Rafel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Llanos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAN LORENZO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave WINNING ELEVEN the free kick. Ermegildo Llanos kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Augusto Dalmai kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After some careless play in the SAN LORENZO FC defense, Juan Riquelme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerardo Romelio. The SAN LORENZO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerardo Romelio should have stopped the shot. WINNING ELEVEN's Celedonio Urtzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Llanos in the 75th minute of play. Gerardo Romelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Mirande in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Juan Riquelme notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SAN LORENZO FC's Gerardo Romelio. Gerardo Romelio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, WINNING ELEVEN's Celedonio Urtzi got control of the ball when Fabricio Tipi tried to sneak it across the goal line. WINNING ELEVEN's Eleuterio Oskitz got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerardo Romelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Abel, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Ulises Abel succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. WINNING ELEVEN were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SAN LORENZO FC for a fine match.
