Evaristo Domiku kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, RB Chubut's Florencio Berbiz threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gabríel Batistuta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Florencio Berbiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabríel Batistuta in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Silverio Tadzio could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Florencio Berbiz however easily saved by the left post. In the 20th match minute, Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Napier to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Napier in the 22nd minute of play forced RB Chubut's goalkeeper Astor Transito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Gabríel Batistuta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of RB Chubut booed when Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Abel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute Gabríel Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Berbiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Transito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Napier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Txema placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out!

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind RB Chubut's goalkeeper Astor Transito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Astor Transito made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Lino Javiero sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabríel Batistuta in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florencio Berbiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Tomas Abel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. A collision led to Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tomas Abel hit a great ball. After 71 played minutes, RB Chubut's Anselmo Arias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Florencio Berbiz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RB Chubut reached it. The supporters of Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb booed when RB Chubut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Petri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, RB Chubut's Tomás Chico got a free kick in the 81st minute. Efrain Baladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Transito having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Baladi came free, but Astor Transito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RB Chubut.
