In the 5th minute Carolo Stephen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Feliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, ♦Diabetes♦'s goal looked a bit too open when Luis Vázquez came free, but Jonas Chorache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Luis Vázquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Chorache was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Carolo Stephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 10 minutes into the match, Atlético Argentino's goalkeeper Raimundo Feliu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carolo Stephen. The audience was convinced that Carolo Stephen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimundo Feliu was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carolo Stephen in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimundo Feliu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raimundo Feliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Stephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Feliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Stephen, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Raimundo Feliu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Meder Fabelo made in the 31st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Baldomero Hermon immediately put the ball in play. The crowd rose to their feet as ♦Diabetes♦'s Carolo Stephen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raimundo Feliu. That made the score 1-1 after 34 minutes of play. In the 40th minute Carolo Stephen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Feliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Chorache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Vázquez in the 42nd minute of play. Atlético Argentino's Raimundo Feliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Stephen in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Atlético Argentino's Baldomero Hermon got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th match minute, Atlético Argentino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Hermon to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carolo Stephen was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Stephen in the 55th minute of play forced Atlético Argentino's goalkeeper Raimundo Feliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ♦Diabetes♦ were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Atlético Argentino's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristiano Ronaldinho replaced Carolo Stephen. 62 minutes into the match, ♦Diabetes♦'s goal looked a bit too open when Josemir Lujambio came free, but Jonas Chorache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Ronaldinho did an outstanding performance 98 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-2 to the right of an irritated Raimundo Feliu in the goal. 101 minutes into the match, Cristiano Ronaldinho notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Atlético Argentino's Raimundo Feliu. Raimundo Feliu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
