After having played for 5 minutes, Benjamin da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pesqueira City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeremias Orland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Genovese in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Benjamin da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pesqueira City's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin da Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederico Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nildo Moreira during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute, Anfilogino Genovese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 15th minute of play forced Mochila FC's goalkeeper Frederico Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mochila FC's goalkeeper Frederico Madureira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Nildo Moreira threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pesqueira City's Válbson Vidal quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 22 minutes of play, Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frederico Madureira was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Benjamin da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mochila FC's goalkeeper Frederico Madureira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Mochila FC's goalkeeper Frederico Madureira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin da Fonseca. When Benjamin da Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Pesqueira City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin da Fonseca couldn't finish the play. Mochila FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Benjamin da Fonseca scored to the left of an out of position Frederico Madureira, making the score, 3-1. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mochila FC's goalkeeper Frederico Madureira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The wind increased when Erling Halland made the kick off in the second half. Pesqueira City's Jeremias Orland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Matos in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Benjamin da Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Pesqueira City getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Doriva Zanette hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederico Madureira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Benjamin da Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frederico Madureira was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mochila FC's goalkeeper Frederico Madureira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeremias Orland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Fernanco in the 72nd minute of the match. Mochila FC's Nildo Moreira got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Nildo Moreira off the ground. The supporters of Pesqueira City booed when Mochila FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nildo Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin da Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frederico Madureira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin da Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute Benjamin da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Orland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulises Fernanco in the 87th minute. Benjamin da Fonseca took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frederico Madureira. Frederico Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. When the referee ended the match the Pesqueira City players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
