In the 5th minute Robertinho Carabajal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's goal looked a bit too open when Dieguinho Terra came free, but Ulises Steven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joseph Smits in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Maria Quirino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Joseph Smits put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of José Maria Quirino. With a little luck, Bizard FC's José Maria Quirino got control of the ball when Robertinho Carabajal tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Maria Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robertinho Carabajal in the 28th minute of the match. AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 33rd minute of play. Ulises Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 40th minute of play. José Maria Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Smits in the 43rd minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luisinho Tasso to make the kick off. The Bizard FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Maria Quirino should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute Luiz Fabiano Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Bizard FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisinho Tasso to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes Bizard FC got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Tasso. Ulises Steven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 67th minute of the match. Ulises Steven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 88th minute of play forced Bizard FC's goalkeeper José Maria Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Pinho got free with Ulises Steven in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ulises Steven made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Pinho in the 92nd minute. When Alesandro Nesta fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bizard FC's protests and gave Alesandro Nesta a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes, AFC Koolkerke's Clóvis Bittencourt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper José Maria Quirino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AFC Koolkerke reached it. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bizard FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Clóvis Bittencourt was slow to take the kick. During this time AFC Koolkerke's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to AFC Koolkerke's Tommie Jorna getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. AFC Koolkerke were victorious despite being under pressure from Bizard FC for much of the match.
