But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrián Espadas couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robertinho Carabajal to make the kick off. AFC Koolkerke's Tommie Jorna quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Natalio Mazuste, made in the 51st minute of the game. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Cosme Jaen replaced Rodolfo Atarrabi. In the 59th match minute, AFC Koolkerke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrizio Di Muzio to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when AFC Koolkerke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christer Sunde didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute of the game Christer Sunde made a throw-in which Robertinho Carabajal played forward. After a rather tough play, AFC Koolkerke's Christer Sunde got a free kick in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Soroca F.C.'s zone, Robertinho Carabajal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Armani came out of the goal and Robertinho Carabajal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
