Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Beatus Schmitt took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Gori in the 4th minute of play forced FC Seitenstecher's goalkeeper Silvester Bürgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvester Bürgi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Di Giulio in the 6th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Stintino FC's goalkeeper Antonello Ranieri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman De Maria. 11 minutes into the match, FC Seitenstecher's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Ascenzi came free, but Silvester Bürgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Roman De Maria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Seitenstecher's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman De Maria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvester Bürgi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Ascenzi in the 17th minute of play. When Marc Maurer came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the FC Seitenstecher fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marc Maurer couldn't finish the play. Silvester Bürgi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Di Giulio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Roman De Maria dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Antonello Ranieri, 1-0. Eric Scilacci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonello Ranieri having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Flavio Di Giulio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvester Bürgi. FC Seitenstecher's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavio Di Giulio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Flavio Di Giulio hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Beatus Schmitt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvester Bürgi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Rizzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Antonello Ranieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Scilacci in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Eric Scilacci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonello Ranieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 minutes Stintino FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herman Himmelreich who took care of the corner kick. Marc Maurer was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 57th minute, Alex Rizzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roman De Maria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stintino FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alvise Vittorio in the 72nd minute. Stintino FC's Alvise Vittorio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Silvester Bürgi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Roman De Maria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonello Ranieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Maurer, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Stintino FC's Antonello Ranieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Maurer in the 86th minute of play. Eric Scilacci took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antonello Ranieri. Antonello Ranieri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
