With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaizko Otero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaizko Otero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Giraldo in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isidoro Giraldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Isidoro Giraldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Desamparados city's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Agustin Vergaray scored to the left of an out of position Gaizko Otero, making the score, 1-5. In the 82nd minute, Ramiro Nel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, San Antonio FC's Isidoro Giraldo got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 91st minute Agustin Vergaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaizko Otero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaudencio Ramone got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Gaudencio Ramone hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Chants of San Antonio FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Desamparados city had held the ball for most of the match.
