Alonzo Sheppard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Wojton in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Jorginho Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Peralta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. IFK Karskrona's Alonzo Sheppard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Wojton in the 18th minute of play. Ramon Peralta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorginho Cruz in the 20th minute. After a rather tough play, REAL COHOLICS's Florin Răducioiu got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes into the match, REAL COHOLICS's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Fågel came free, but Ramon Peralta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonzo Sheppard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Laudrup, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 48th minute Jorginho Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Peralta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Cruz in the 54th minute of play forced REAL COHOLICS's goalkeeper Ramon Peralta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute REAL COHOLICS were awarded a corner. Luiz Pereira went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Luiz Pereira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but IFK Karskrona's Alonzo Sheppard did a great save. In the 62nd minute, Edward Wojton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Per-Erik Svensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcos Fernández did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Alonzo Sheppard 68 minutes into the match. When Marcos Fernández fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored REAL COHOLICS's protests and gave Marcos Fernández a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to REAL COHOLICS getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Fernández in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alonzo Sheppard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. IFK Karskrona's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Norberto Veremundo in the 88th minute. A nice corner shot did that Norberto Veremundo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ramon Peralta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 90th minute Nils Fågel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Peralta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Fernández received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Alonzo Sheppard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The IFK Karskrona manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing REAL COHOLICS to win.
