The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Paolo Bazil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Britos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zion the free kick. The supporters of Zion booed when Britos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Bazil didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute, Zornin Espineiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Zion's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Opilano came free, but Niguel Varaona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 played minutes Zion got a freekick which was hit by Donzel Cuquejo. Britos's Teodoro Ritchie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zornin Espineiro in the 9th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, Zion's Zornin Espineiro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Ritchie was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zion's Louis Ebro got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th match minute, Britos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Handi to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Ritchie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zornin Espineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xines Holguin took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodoro Ritchie. Teodoro Ritchie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zornin Espineiro in the 26th minute of play forced Britos's goalkeeper Teodoro Ritchie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Niguel Varaona successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Britos's Teodoro Ritchie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zornin Espineiro in the 29th minute of play. Xines Holguin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Ritchie having to interfere. Niguel Varaona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Baraquiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Britos's Arnulfo Opilano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niguel Varaona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After 36 minutes, Donzel Cuquejo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zion and the Britos players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Zion getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Donzel Cuquejo hit a great ball. Javier Misael was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Gasteiz Luga made a precise shot to the right of Teodoro Ritchie. Britos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The supporters of Britos booed when Zion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donzel Cuquejo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Arnulfo Opilano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodoro Ritchie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gasteiz Luga, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The wind increased when Xines Holguin made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Zion's Asteri Canal got a free kick in the 50th minute. Simon Chap hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The supporters of Britos booed when Zion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Ubera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niguel Varaona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Opilano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Ritchie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zornin Espineiro in the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Britos's goalkeeper Teodoro Ritchie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gasteiz Luga. When the match was over Zion could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Britos throughout the match.
