The corner led Nusnäs IF's George Håkansson to fire away a dangerous shot which Brian Dahlbom despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Adrian Bergström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Berglund in the 20th minute of play. Nicolas De Custer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Brian Dahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brian Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas De Custer in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sollentuna United FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. George Håkansson was slow to take the kick. During this time Nusnäs IF's players had a chance to rest. Mark Mager was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Torgny Linberg got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alvin Vacker. Jon Samuelsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brian Dahlbom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jon Samuelsson ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Torgny Linberg during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kent Billvall's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adrian Bergström firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Nusnäs IF booed when Sollentuna United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Arne Hedvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Nicolas De Custer fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nusnäs IF's protests and gave Nicolas De Custer a yellow card for diving instead. When the match was over Nusnäs IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sollentuna United FC throughout the match.
