In the 11th minute of the match Cleto Gervaso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thalis Kaliasis skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Atletico Maturrango's Jaunzuria Luyando got control of the ball when Hacı Ali Eldemir tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hacı Ali Eldemir made a kick off. Atletico Maturrango's Octavio Carballo was substituted for Florencio Herbella. Thalis Kaliasis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Zuazna, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
