Aldo Mannie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Judas Verón, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Cristian Azibar tried in the 17th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Aldo Mannie a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. A collision led to Ripa FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Cristian Azibar hit a great ball. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ripa FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Garcia Morros was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgrano de Pibasog's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garcia Morros in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aldo Mannie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aldo Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garcia Morros in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Judas Verón in the 35th minute of play forced Ripa FC's goalkeeper Aldo Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blue Dolar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Judas Verón stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Garcia Morros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
