After 22 minutes, Enginsu Zaim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Vengeurs FC and the ST Lions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Suavi Ünver hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Savaş Metiner kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Boğaç Yalkın. In the 36th minute Arif Cengiz Akel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boğaç Yalkın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Savaş Metiner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
