The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Befruktas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frans Östlund came free, but Malte Brummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malte Brummer came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lillbo BK's Frans Östlund. But to his dismay, Frans Östlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Ola Möllgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 8th minute Frans Östlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malte Brummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malte Brummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Östlund in the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of Befruktas FC booed when Lillbo BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Dahlquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertil Vallengren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andreas Wahlnäs's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Befruktas FC's Andreas Wahlnäs got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Roy Engström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bertil Vallengren. That made the score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. Malte Brummer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Östlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Andreas Granberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. Bertil Vallengren had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Andreas Wahlnäs's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Joel Aronsson came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Befruktas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Aronsson couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Lillbo BK's zone, Ola Möllgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Vallengren came out of the goal and Ola Möllgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Befruktas FC's Bertil Vallengren threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andreas Wahlnäs, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bertil Vallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Wahlnäs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ola Möllgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bertil Vallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Wahlnäs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd match minute, Befruktas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Aronsson to maneuver through the defense. Frans Östlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Malte Brummer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frans Östlund ran back to his position shaking his head. Frans Östlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Malte Brummer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 played minutes Befruktas FC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Aronsson. In the 57th minute Andreas Wahlnäs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Vallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertil Vallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ola Möllgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Bertil Vallengren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Möllgren in the 63rd minute of the match. Lillbo BK's Bertil Vallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Wahlnäs in the 65th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Osvald Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malte Brummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Greger Grep fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Vallengren having to interfere. Lillbo BK's Bertil Vallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ola Möllgren in the 83rd minute of play. Befruktas FC's Ola Möllgren got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Ola Möllgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bertil Vallengren was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. With a little luck, Befruktas FC's Malte Brummer got control of the ball when Frans Östlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. There was no doubt that Befruktas FC were the better team. Befruktas FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
