An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Alebom in the 19th minute of play forced IFK Söderköping's goalkeeper Stig Ahlerot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roland Holmstedt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per-Olof Kihlberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Stig Ahlerot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Ek in the 60th minute of play. Per-Olof Kihlberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Per-Olof Kihlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Holmstedt in the 90th minute of play.
