In the 4th minute, Thomas Godholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Carl Isaksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brandbergen Bears's supporters rose to their feet, but Carl Isaksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Lövskog breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albert Lövskog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Runeberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Carl Isaksson's late challenge caught a Djurgården IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carl Isaksson helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes Brandbergen Bears got a freekick which was hit by Carl Isaksson. Brandbergen Bears's Harry Askstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albert Lövskog made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erland Kjellkvist in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Djurgården IF's Mats Kinnman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrick Gallin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harry Askstedt during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Brandbergen Bears got a freekick which was hit by Harry Askstedt. In the 27th minute, Brandbergen Bears's Freddie Lidberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Freddie Lidberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Brandbergen Bears protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Freddie Lidberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Brandbergen Bears booed when Djurgården IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Godholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Erland Kjellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brandbergen Bears's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erland Kjellkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Djurgården IF's Albert Lövskog got control of the ball when Carl Isaksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albert Lövskog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Askstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Djurgården IF's Albert Lövskog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Runeberg in the 40th minute of play. Harry Askstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Lövskog having to interfere. Patrick Gallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gottfrid Eriksson in the 44th minute of play. The Brandbergen Bears players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Djurgården IF were winning 0-1.
The wind increased when Erland Kjellkvist made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Harry Askstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 63 minutes, Alfons Runeberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brandbergen Bears and the Djurgården IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alfons Runeberg hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A collision led to Brandbergen Bears getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Carl Isaksson hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erland Kjellkvist in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albert Lövskog prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute Erland Kjellkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Lövskog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Lövskog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Runeberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Albert Lövskog came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Brandbergen Bears's Erland Kjellkvist. But to his dismay, Erland Kjellkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Alfons Runeberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Lövskog having to interfere. Albert Lövskog came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Brandbergen Bears's Carl Isaksson. But to his dismay, Carl Isaksson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Albert Lövskog didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Brandbergen Bears's Erland Kjellkvist shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Albert Lövskog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erland Kjellkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Harry Askstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's goal looked a bit too open when Erland Kjellkvist came free, but Albert Lövskog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute Harry Askstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Lövskog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brandbergen Bears walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
