With a little luck, JKs Talanger's Stig Wästerberg got control of the ball when Morgan Åkesson tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Lange in the 9th minute of play forced JKs Talanger's goalkeeper Stig Wästerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Kjell Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Gabriel Lange notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of JKs Talanger's Stig Wästerberg. Stig Wästerberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute of the match, Mattias Svahn got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stig Wästerberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Stig Wästerberg made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Morgan Åkesson sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Hans Vennerberg in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by JKs Talanger's Sergio Dacio. In the 26th minute, Kjell Åkesson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JKs Talanger fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 32 minutes into the game, FC Kurdistan's Morgan Åkesson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig Wästerberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. FC Kurdistan's Felix Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Åkesson in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Felix Åberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of JKs Talanger booed when FC Kurdistan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Vennerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Åberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kjell Åkesson's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mattias Svahn to strike the kick off in the second half. JKs Talanger's Kjell Åkesson got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stig Wästerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Svahn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig Wästerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morgan Åkesson in the 58th minute of play. FC Kurdistan's Felix Åberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kurdistan from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, Hans Vennerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Eddie Andreasson replaced Mattias Svahn. JKs Talanger made a substitution. Karl-Magnus Harlén replaced Kjell Åkesson. The supporters of JKs Talanger booed when FC Kurdistan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Vennerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergio Dacio kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Karl-Magnus Harlén's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Åberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of FC Kurdistan booed when JKs Talanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godo Munk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Felix Åberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Magnus Harlén. Felix Åberg was a little too slow when Karl-Magnus Harlén got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 2-2. Karl-Magnus Harlén blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Åberg having to make a save. Felix Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Harlén in the 80th minute of play. Jan-Åke Pettersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind JKs Talanger's goalkeeper Stig Wästerberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Magnus Harlén got free with Felix Åberg in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute, JKs Talanger's Karl-Magnus Harlén dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. JKs Talanger had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
