Club Vertigo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldinho Ronaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dan Berceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Delphine Stars got a freekick which was hit by Ion Ologu. Ronaldinho Ronaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Ştefan Panțuru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petre Irod. Delphine Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ştefan Panțuru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Club Vertigo's Valeriu Achiriloaie got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Club Vertigo's Răzvan Mirciulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Ologu in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Club Vertigo's Iurie Oargă seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Iurie Oargă the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Vertigo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Iurie Oargă had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Vertigo! In the 34th minute Filip Trifan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Răzvan Mirciulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Ivan Turlea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Răzvan Mirciulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Macarie in the 42nd minute of play. Lucrețiu Istrate took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Răzvan Mirciulescu. Răzvan Mirciulescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ion Ologu to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Macarie in the 51st minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Răzvan Mirciulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costel Macarie took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Răzvan Mirciulescu. Răzvan Mirciulescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ivan Turlea got his second yellow card in the match during the 57th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Delphine Stars's Ivan Turlea got a free kick in the 57th minute. Răzvan Mirciulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucrețiu Istrate went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After 71 minutes, Filip Trifan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delphine Stars and the Club Vertigo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Delphine Stars's Filip Trifan got a free kick in the 71st minute. With a little luck, Delphine Stars's Petre Irod got control of the ball when Ronaldinho Ronaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 76 played minutes Delphine Stars got a freekick which was hit by Filip Trifan. Petre Irod took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Ronaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute of the match Club Vertigo got a corner. Delphine Stars's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dan Berceanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Club Vertigo's Ştefan Panțuru was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Petre Irod in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Club Vertigo's Răzvan Mirciulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Macarie in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Trifan came free, but Răzvan Mirciulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Club Vertigo getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Valeriu Achiriloaie hit a great ball.
