Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iacob Anghelescu started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Leo Doro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Adrian Vătăşel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 8 minutes into the game, CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's Nicu Gâgea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrian Vătăşel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 11th minute Ilie Balaci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Vătăşel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Vătăşel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from George Vlăsiu went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Adrian Vătăşel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Doro in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, George Vlăsiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Vătăşel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 21 minutes into the match, George Vlăsiu notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Secueni's Adrian Vătăşel. Adrian Vătăşel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tudor Bacalu hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Adrian Vătăşel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Vlăsiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Tudor Bacalu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, George Vlăsiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Vătăşel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo Doro made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Secueni's Horaţiu Uncuţă got a free kick in the 51st minute. With a little luck, Secueni's Adrian Vătăşel got control of the ball when George Vlăsiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Leo Doro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adrian Vătăşel. That made the score 0-8 in the 55 minute of play. Adrian Vătăşel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Doro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Secueni's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Balaci came free, but Adrian Vătăşel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, George Vlăsiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Adrian Vătăşel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Doro in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Vătăşel saved Secueni from getting behind. Secueni's Adrian Vătăşel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Secueni from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Secueni getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Tudor Bacalu hit a great ball. Adrian Vătăşel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidiu Mandoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Secueni's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when George Vlăsiu scored to the left of an out of position Adrian Vătăşel, making the score, 0-12. CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
