After a rather tough play, Raureni Academy's Mugur Muscă got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After some careless play in the Raureni Academy defense, Dorin Nebunu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Grigore Ozon. The Raureni Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grigore Ozon should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Grigore Ozon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costin Ailioaiei. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Negrilă in the 30th minute of play forced Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Grigore Ozon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolae Stoiciu during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Raureni Academy getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Nicolae Stoiciu hit a great ball. During this time FC Cosula-BTF-'s players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Voicu in the 56th minute of play forced FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Ilie Brumaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. One of Raureni Academy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Cosula-BTF-:s goal. Grigore Ozon went to the wrong direction when Sever Mărăscu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Gabriel Arsene notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Raureni Academy's Grigore Ozon. Grigore Ozon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Grigore Ozon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorin Nebunu, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. There was no doubt that FC Cosula-BTF- were the better team. FC Cosula-BTF-'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
