Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aron Dichiseanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Sebastian Bărăian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paul Badea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Tănăsocă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nistor Boacă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Badea having to interfere. The supporters of Dacians Academy booed when Vama Veche ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Şoimaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Vama Veche ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Aron Dichiseanu came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match Dacians Academy got a corner. Vama Veche ™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Constantin Bălașa ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Dacians Academy's corner Constantin Bălașa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Helmuth Duckadam quite easily take care of the ball. In the 19th minute Aron Dichiseanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmuth Duckadam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Aron Dichiseanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Helmuth Duckadam was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Helmuth Duckadam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Dichiseanu in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aron Dichiseanu in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helmuth Duckadam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastian Bărăian's late challenge caught a Vama Veche ™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Bărăian helped the player get up and apologised. Ionel Sandu hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Constantin Bălașa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dacians Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantin Bălașa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Helmuth Duckadam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Vama Veche ™'s zone, Ovidiu Cerghizan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Helmuth Duckadam came out of the goal and Ovidiu Cerghizan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Dacians Academy were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Tănăsocă made a kick off. Corneliu Răchită's late challenge caught a Vama Veche ™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aron Dichiseanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Helmuth Duckadam when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Bălașa, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Junior Coman in the 62nd minute of play forced Vama Veche ™'s goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Dacians Academy's Ovidiu Cerghizan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Dacians Academy's Paul Badea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Şoimaru in the 69th minute of play. Paul Badea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Tănăsocă in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vama Veche ™'s goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vama Veche ™'s Helmuth Duckadam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Vama Veche ™ from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Vama Veche ™'s Ionel Sandu got a free kick in the 74th minute. Aron Dichiseanus short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Helmuth Duckadam to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Vama Veche ™ getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ionel Sandu hit a great ball. When Junior Coman came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Dacians Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Junior Coman couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Bălașa in the 84th minute of play forced Vama Veche ™'s goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vama Veche ™ were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Dacians Academy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Tănăsocă took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ionel Sandu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paul Badea quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dacians Academy's Aron Dichiseanu managed to work through Vama Veche ™'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Aron Dichiseanu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Helmuth Duckadam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Constantin Bălașa's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Dacians Academy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vama Veche ™.
