When Tudor Filipașcu came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Ghostbusters CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tudor Filipașcu couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the A4p FC Gad defense, Basarab Surugiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mugur Aanicăi. The A4p FC Gad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mugur Aanicăi should have stopped the shot. Mugur Aanicăi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Pavel in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Ghostbusters CF were awarded a corner. Tudor Filipașcu went to the cornerflag to take it. Ghostbusters CF were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after A4p FC Gad's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tudor Filipașcu took the corner. Ghostbusters CF's Tudor Filipașcu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mugur Aanicăi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Pinto in the 26th minute of play forced A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Mugur Aanicăi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergiu Maniu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tudor Cioculescu during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, A4p FC Gad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tudor Cioculescu to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Tudor Cioculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. A4p FC Gad's supporters rose to their feet, but Tudor Cioculescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Nanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mugur Aanicăi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Surugiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Ovidiu Verzeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After 96 minutes, Andrea Pavel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ghostbusters CF and the A4p FC Gad players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of A4p FC Gad booed when Ghostbusters CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrea Pavel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Ghostbusters CF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ghostbusters CF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
