With his leg Stelian Halipa managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Balavanis's Marin Gavrilă fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 13th minute, Balavanis's Gheorghe Basarab dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 17 minutes, Gheorghe Basarab made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Team in construction's Stelian Halipa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th match minute, Balavanis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Şimoc to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the game, Valeriu Ene was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Team in construction's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balavanis the free kick. 22 minutes into the game, Gheorghe Basarab recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stelian Halipa. Gheorghe Basarab showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Toader Arotăriței took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stelian Halipa. Stelian Halipa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Toader Arotăriței received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Stelian Halipa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Team in construction's Gică Tudor got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Marin Gavrilă got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toader Arotăriței to strike the kick off in the second half. Team in construction's Stelian Halipa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Basarab in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Gabriel Tatomir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balavanis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Team in construction the free kick. When Valeriu Ene came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Team in construction fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valeriu Ene couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the game, Balavanis's Cristinel Tapalagă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stelian Halipa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Toader Arotăriței sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Gheorghe Basarab managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balavanis's supporters rose to their feet, but Gheorghe Basarab was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stelian Halipa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristinel Tapalagă kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Panait Schipor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team in construction's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panait Schipor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 71 minutes, Silviu Gherdan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Team in construction and the Balavanis players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute, Silviu Gherdan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Balavanis's Marin Gavrilă tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Teodor Romoşan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stelian Halipa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Gavrilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Gheorghe Basarab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Balavanis's Gabriel Tatomir got a free kick in the 80th minute. Teodor Romoşan was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Balavanis booed when Team in construction was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Romoşan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gheorghe Basarab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Toader Arotăriței had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Băcioiu in the 88th minute of play forced Team in construction's goalkeeper Stelian Halipa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stelian Halipa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Gavrilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The supporters of Balavanis booed when Team in construction was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinu Lupoaia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 minutes of play, Balavanis's Gheorghe Basarab made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stelian Halipa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Balavanis's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
