Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brain Struik started the match with the kick off. Brain Struik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordache Hirean having to interfere. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Brain Struik was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 4th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brain Struik in the 7th minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Iordache Hirean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes Minerul Baita -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliodor Arnăuțescu who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalie and right to Dacian Blajovici. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Minerul Baita -MM-'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Brain Struik in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th minute of the match MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a corner. Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliodor Arnăuțescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dacian Blajovici made a great header on MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's corner, it was just that Minerul Baita -MM-'s Iordache Hirean managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brain Struik in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iordache Hirean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eliodor Arnăuțescu in the 15th minute. A nice corner shot did that Eliodor Arnăuțescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Iordache Hirean quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Cristian Văduva got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Brain Struik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iordache Hirean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Iordache Hirean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brain Struik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brain Struiks short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Iordache Hirean to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 35th minute, Eliodor Arnăuțescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tiberiu Filip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iordache Hirean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brain Struik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Văduva to make the kick off. The supporters of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV booed when Minerul Baita -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qiu Wei Ting didn't get a good kick on the ball. Minerul Baita -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Qiu Wei Ting in the 54th minute. The corner led Minerul Baita -MM-'s Qiu Wei Ting to fire away a dangerous shot which Fabian Ioniță despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fabian Ioniță stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Văduva's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Minerul Baita -MM-'s Felix Ferenț slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabian Ioniță. That made the score 2-1 after 60 minutes of play. In the 63rd minute, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Sever Pandele dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 68th play minute Cristian Văduva came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fabian Ioniță. 2-3. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Fabian Ioniță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qiu Wei Ting in the 72nd minute of play. Sever Pandele could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Fabian Ioniță made a huge save. If Tiberiu Filip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Qiu Wei Ting came free, but Fabian Ioniță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionică Şendrea hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 94 played minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Blajovici. The MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Minerul Baita -MM-'s performance. The match ended with a win for Minerul Baita -MM-.
