But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alper Benli couldn't finish the play. Cosmin Enigărescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panait Vâtcu having to interfere. In the 14th minute Cristián Săpunaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichifor Nicolae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Andrei Alexandrescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Andrei Alexandrescu made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Victor Piţurcă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emerald's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Piţurcă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romeo Ieremia made in the 57th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sebastian Cobâlcescu. Nichifor Nicolae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Bumba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nichifor Nicolae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Bumba, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Claudiu Bumba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichifor Nicolae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Victor Piţurcă came free, but Panait Vâtcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A beautiful save bye Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Nichifor Nicolae successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 72 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Cosmin Enigărescu came free, but Panait Vâtcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panait Vâtcu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrei Alexandrescu's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Andrei Alexandrescu sped through Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Panait Vâtcu. 84 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Victor Piţurcă came free, but Panait Vâtcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
