After 4 played minutes Bårjåsnjárgga got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Berg. A hard shot 6 in the game by Oscar Myr from a close distance when the talented Frazer Waltham managed to make a qualified save. Ssc Napoli's players were relieved. Frazer Waltham was a little too slow when Alan Lange got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. Oscar Myr succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 17th playminute. Alan Lange could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Frazer Waltham made a huge save. Oscar Myr struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Frazer Waltham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bårjåsnjárgga. 28 minutes in the game, Alan Lange fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Frazer Waltham having to interfere. Oscar Myr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Frazer Waltham made a huge save. If Oscar Myr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Oscar Myr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frazer Waltham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes Ssc Napoli got a freekick which was hit by Glen Reeves. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alan Lange was the one to do the kick off. Des Bramble was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 51st minute. Ssc Napoli's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Patrick Berg hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Christer Larsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jim Marlow in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that Alan Lange's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frazer Waltham was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Vincent Reid could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Christer Larsson made a huge save. Vincent Reid blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christer Larsson having to make a save. In the 75th match minute, Bårjåsnjárgga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Lange to maneuver through the defense. Des Bramble took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christer Larsson. Bårjåsnjárgga's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Bårjåsnjárgga's goalkeeper Christer Larsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vincent Reid. Ssc Napoli made a substitution. Mick Boulding replaced Jim Marlow. In the 85th minute Ssc Napoli were awarded a corner. Owen Morcom went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 93rd minute, Mick Boulding got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ssc Napoli players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bårjåsnjárgga.
