Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gez Little started the match with the kick off. Argyris Loukoumakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larry Rayner, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Sissons in the 4th minute of play forced Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Argyris Loukoumakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johnny Ingham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Argyris Loukoumakis having to interfere. Ampthill FC's Argyris Loukoumakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Sissons in the 7th minute of play. Alfie Read made a great header on Meninges FC's corner, it was just that Ampthill FC's Argyris Loukoumakis managed to reach the ball for a save. When Johnny Ingham came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Meninges FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johnny Ingham couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ampthill FC booed when Meninges FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Larry Rayner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Meninges FC were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Ampthill FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfie Read took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Alfie Read got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Argyris Loukoumakis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Timothy Walton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gez Little's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Meninges FC's Timothy Walton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Meninges FC from getting a goal against them. Larry Rayner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meninges FC's Kurt Sissons got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Meninges FC's goal looked a bit too open when Conal Knight-Percival came free, but Timothy Walton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zackary Boulding's late challenge caught a Ampthill FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zackary Boulding helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, Meninges FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zackary Boulding to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Meninges FC's Timothy Walton got control of the ball when Gez Little tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Kurt Sissons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garry Kinsey hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd match minute, Meninges FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnny Ingham to maneuver through the defense. Alfie Read hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Garry Kinsey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ampthill FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Garry Kinsey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timothy Walton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gez Little had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Johnny Ingham made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Ampthill FC's Argyris Loukoumakis got control of the ball when Johnny Ingham tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Larry Rayner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Argyris Loukoumakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Larry Rayner in the 59th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Larry Rayner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Argyris Loukoumakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute Gez Little shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timothy Walton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Larry Rayner came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Meninges FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Larry Rayner couldn't finish the play. Dave Ferrell kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Argyris Loukoumakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Larry Rayner in the 81st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fraser Oatway got free with Argyris Loukoumakis in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Garry Kinsey kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ampthill FC's Dave Ferrell got a free kick in the 91st minute. Timothy Walton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gez Little, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Meninges FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
