After 5 played minutes Kings got a freekick which was hit by Kastytis Zuoza. Ossi Jukkola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benas Zibavičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Jerzy Werra took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jotautas Gutauskas to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Botvik FC's zone, Algirdas Kšanavičius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ossi Jukkola came out of the goal and Algirdas Kšanavičius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jotautas Gutauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasperi Kylmänen in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kings's Algirdas Kšanavičius got a free kick in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Botvik FC's Jerzy Werra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jotautas Gutauskas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kim Innanen in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jotautas Gutauskas saved Kings from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Botvik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benas Zibavičius came free, but Ossi Jukkola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teuvo Niemelä hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 30 minutes in the game, Kim Innanen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jotautas Gutauskas having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Jerzy Werra made a precise shot to the right of Jotautas Gutauskas. Kings's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Aatu Veikkanen kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Albertas Skinderis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ossi Jukkola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Kim Innanen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Kim Innanen came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Botvik FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kim Innanen couldn't finish the play. 48 minutes into the match, Kings's goalkeeper Jotautas Gutauskas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerzy Werra. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeronimas Gaižiūnas was the one to do the kick off. Ossi Jukkola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benas Zibavičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Jerzy Werra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Kim Innanen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jotautas Gutauskas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 61 minutes, Lassi Kaikkonen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Botvik FC and the Kings players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Botvik FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lassi Kaikkonen to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Kings's Kastytis Zuoza got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Jotautas Gutauskas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kim Innanen went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 69th match minute, Kings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kastytis Zuoza to maneuver through the defense. Jotautas Gutauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Innanen, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Botvik FC's Ossi Jukkola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimas Gaižiūnas in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Botvik FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerzy Werra to maneuver through the defense. Kings's Algirdas Kšanavičius got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Algirdas Kšanavičius off the ground. The supporters of Botvik FC booed when Kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algirdas Kšanavičius didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Kim Innanen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jotautas Gutauskas. Kings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kim Innanen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. A sloppy throw-in by Kastytis Zuoza in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Botvik FC's Teuvo Niemelä. In the 85th minute, Jerzy Werra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jotautas Gutauskas was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. When Kim Innanen came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Botvik FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kim Innanen couldn't finish the play. Kings's Jotautas Gutauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Innanen in the 94th minute of play. Botvik FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
