Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Casper Røhne got the match started through his kick off. Austin Hazell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Førsund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Henley on Thames United booed when Skjaldbørg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stian Ingebrigtsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casper Røhne got free with Austin Hazell in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Skjaldbørg defense, Glenn Westwood kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Ryen. The Skjaldbørg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Ryen should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, Geir Myrseth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Henley on Thames United's Kris Tetley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Ryen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 36 minutes into the match, Kris Tetley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Ryen. Skjaldbørg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kris Tetley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Christian Ryen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huey Claydon, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After the first half Henley on Thames United were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Glenn Westwood made the kick off in the second half. Skjaldbørg's Christian Ryen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glenn Westwood in the 52nd minute of play. Kris Tetleys short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Christian Ryen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kris Tetley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Christian Ryen made a huge save. When Kris Tetley in the 55th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Christian Ryen kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-7 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Skjaldbørg's Christian Ryen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huey Claydon in the 58th minute of play. Mikael Førsund's late challenge caught a Henley on Thames United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikael Førsund helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 65 minutes, Glenn Westwood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Henley on Thames United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Glenn Westwood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glenn Westwood in the 69th minute of play forced Skjaldbørg's goalkeeper Christian Ryen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goal looked a bit too open when Stian Ingebrigtsen came free, but Austin Hazell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Huey Claydon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Christian Ryen made a huge save. 75 minutes into the match, Skjaldbørg's goalkeeper Christian Ryen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kris Tetley. Austin Hazell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikael Førsund's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Kris Tetley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Glenn Westwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Ryen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Huey Claydon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Christian Ryen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Henley on Thames United's Glenn Westwood slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christian Ryen. That made the score 0-9 after 91 minutes of play. Henley on Thames United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
