Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Gædd FK's Jørgen Waage started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alec Parslow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jørgen Waage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 3rd minute, Austin Child hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gjøran Kvale took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alec Parslow. Alec Parslow dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Austin Child could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Eskil Myhrvold made a huge save. Alec Parslow stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sander Bredal's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sander Bredal in the 25th minute of play forced The Globo Red's goalkeeper Alec Parslow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johnnie Walker hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The Gædd FK fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Gædd FK's Jørgen Waage looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjetil Hellevik during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute Jørgen Waage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alec Parslow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alec Parslow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jørgen Waage in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Gædd FK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Severin Hussein hit a great ball. Eskil Myhrvold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bill Hughes-Guy in the 36th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ken Ernstsen in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alec Parslow saved The Globo Red from getting behind. In the 39th minute, one of The Globo Red:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for The Globo Red. After 44 minutes of play, Gædd FK's Jørgen Waage made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alec Parslow was left in no man's land by his defense there! The The Globo Red players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gædd FK were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Austin Child made the kick off in the second half. Don Bray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Myhrvold having to interfere. Johnnie Walker kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th match minute, The Globo Red was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Don Bray to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marius Do during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes Gædd FK got a freekick which was hit by Marius Do. If Austin Child had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes The Globo Red got a freekick which was hit by Drew Moxon. In the 62nd minute Bill Hughes-Guy suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 62 played minutes Gædd FK got a freekick which was hit by Ken Ernstsen. Austin Child recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sander Bredal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Alec Parslow made a huge save. Ken Ernstsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alec Parslow read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Alec Parslow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jørgen Waage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alec Parslow was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jørgen Waage showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 74 minute of play. After 78 minutes The Globo Red's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jørgen Waage who took care of the corner kick. The Globo Red's Alec Parslow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sander Bredal in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Jørgen Waage cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Alec Parslow was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 87 played minutes The Globo Red got a freekick which was hit by Johnnie Walker. In the 88th minute of the match Jørgen Waage shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alec Parslow showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Torbjørn Halvorsrud fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gædd FK's protests and gave Torbjørn Halvorsrud a yellow card for diving instead. Torbjørn Halvorsrud kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Eskil Myhrvold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Bray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Don Bray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Gædd FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gædd FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
