With a couple of smart ball manuevers Egon Fehr in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eldór Hreiðarsson saved Æsir Ásgarðr from getting behind. Rólant Ásbergsson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Leví Borgþórsson kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Æsir Ásgarðr defense, Egon Fehr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eldór Hreiðarsson. The Æsir Ásgarðr fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eldór Hreiðarsson should have stopped the shot. After 85 played minutes Æsir Ásgarðr got a freekick which was hit by Álfgeir Hannibalsson. Guðvin Skúlason hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Eldór Hreiðarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wolf-Rüdiger Bügen in the 87th minute of the match. Eldór Hreiðarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loy Herbold in the 91st minute of play.
