The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edmondo Lucchetta kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Kroton F.C.'s Andrea Cicchini dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Alessandro Di Iorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th match minute, Kroton F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Scacchi to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the game, Emanuele Niccolai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alexander Granato was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the match, Fabrizio Proia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Granato. Kroton F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabrizio Proia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Fabrizio Proia hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Attilio Angelucci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrea Cicchini in the 28th minute. Fabrizio Proia struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Alexander Granato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skyfall. A collision led to Skyfall getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Alessandro Di Iorio hit a great ball. The supporters of Skyfall booed when Kroton F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Concetto Di Giulio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Niccolai in the 37th minute of play forced Kroton F.C.'s goalkeeper Alexander Granato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Granato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eraldo Ragazzoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Eraldo Ragazzoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Skyfall were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eraldo Ragazzoni to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabrizio Proia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Alexander Granato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elia Gallo in the 65th minute of play forced Skyfall's goalkeeper Attilio Angelucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuele Niccolai's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Alexander Granato skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Attilio Angelucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th match minute, Skyfall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Alessandrini to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eraldo Ragazzoni in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Granato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kroton F.C.'s Alexander Granato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Kroton F.C. from getting a goal against them. Attilio Angelucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Gallo in the 84th minute of play. It was beautiful to see Skyfall's Ercole Colelli in action when he in the 90th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When the match was over Skyfall could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kroton F.C. throughout the match.
