Elias Ripoll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demis Panagiotopoulos having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Mario Vauzelle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Vauzelle scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demis Panagiotopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 8th minute, Mario Vauzelle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Les diables noirs getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Sam Bertholet hit a great ball. Elias Ripoll kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Elias Ripoll's late challenge caught a Méga Bisdoúni BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Ripoll helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes Les diables noirs got a freekick which was hit by Elias Ripoll. Martial Laude made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Kyriakos Pandrakis sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes in the game, Kyriakos Pandrakis dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 25th minute Thierry Henri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demis Panagiotopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 27 minutes on the clock, Nontas Mandraflis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 28th minute, Nontas Mandraflis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thierry Henri in the 29th minute of play forced Méga Bisdoúni BC's goalkeeper Demis Panagiotopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demis Panagiotopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Ripoll in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Mario Vauzelle made a precise shot to the right of Demis Panagiotopoulos. Méga Bisdoúni BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Demis Panagiotopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thierry Henri in the 36th minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Mario Vauzelle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Méga Bisdoúni BC's Demis Panagiotopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Méga Bisdoúni BC's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Henri came free, but Demis Panagiotopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anestis Koutos kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Thierry Henri notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Méga Bisdoúni BC's Demis Panagiotopoulos. Demis Panagiotopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Demis Panagiotopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thierry Henri in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Les diables noirs were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Kyriakos Pandrakis made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Les diables noirs's Thierry Henri made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demis Panagiotopoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Les diables noirs booed when Méga Bisdoúni BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyriakos Pandrakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demis Panagiotopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Bertholet in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Les diables noirs's Elias Ripoll nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demis Panagiotopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Demis Panagiotopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Ripoll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thierry Henri in the 62nd minute of play forced Méga Bisdoúni BC's goalkeeper Demis Panagiotopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Méga Bisdoúni BC's Giorgos Eleftheriadis got a free kick in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the Les diables noirs defense, Anestis Koutos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martial Laude. The Les diables noirs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martial Laude should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Méga Bisdoúni BC's goalkeeper Demis Panagiotopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luka Studer. Demis Panagiotopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Ripoll in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Sam Bertholet notched a goal, 1-11, to the right of Méga Bisdoúni BC's Demis Panagiotopoulos. Demis Panagiotopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 95th minute, Les diables noirs's Mario Vauzelle dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-12. Les diables noirs's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
