With a left leg Renos Valantis saved MONAXOS from getting behind. Renos Valantis made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Bernardo Scutti sent off a good shot on target. If Nektarios Kontopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Buffone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Renos Valantis made a huge save. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind MONAXOS's goalkeeper Renos Valantis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dimosthenis Giannellis kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Prince Queen struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Renos Valantis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Old BaoBaB Accademy. Old BaoBaB Accademy's Emilio Buffone was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 21st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The Old BaoBaB Accademy fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Old BaoBaB Accademy's Emilio Buffone looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kleon Kaplatzis hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Bernardo Scutti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renos Valantis having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Emilio Buffone kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Renos Valantis. That made the score 3-0 in the 32 minute of play. Renos Valantis was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Emilio Buffone capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emilio Buffone really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. In the 39th minute, Emilio Buffone reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Renos Valantis. The goal made the score 5-0. Bernardo Scutti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Renos Valantis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 45 minutes, Bernardo Scutti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Old BaoBaB Accademy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Scutti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Old BaoBaB Accademy booed when MONAXOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimosthenis Giannellis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prince Queen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fotis Stamatakos made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the MONAXOS defense, Emilio Buffone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renos Valantis. The MONAXOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renos Valantis should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Buffone in the 58th minute of play forced MONAXOS's goalkeeper Renos Valantis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute of the match Old BaoBaB Accademy got a corner. MONAXOS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Prince Queen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Renos Valantis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Buffone in the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to MONAXOS getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Thomas Karkantos hit a great ball. Emilio Buffone took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renos Valantis. Renos Valantis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 67 minutes into the match, MONAXOS's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Buffone came free, but Renos Valantis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kleon Kaplatzis's late challenge caught a Old BaoBaB Accademy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kleon Kaplatzis helped the player get up and apologised. The Old BaoBaB Accademy fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Old BaoBaB Accademy's Emilio Buffone looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The audience was convinced that Ermanno Del Duca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renos Valantis was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
