Bernardo Parco helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Real Sociedad booed when Stintino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Parco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Real Sociedad were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 50 minutes, Libertad Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Sociedad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Libertad Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Real Sociedad's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Ruscitti came free, but Sauveur Lisundia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Millano succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. When the match was over Real Sociedad could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Stintino FC throughout the match.
