Cesate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Achille Antonelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achille Antonelli in the 6th minute of play forced Triez's goalkeeper Batiste Carbon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Carciofo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brayden Bonnison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes Cesate got a freekick which was hit by Achille Caccia. 20 minutes into the game, Donato Santoro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cesate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Triez the free kick. Donato Santoro kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Cesate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Santoro to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Carciofo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brayden Bonnison in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cesate's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. With a little luck, Triez's Batiste Carbon got control of the ball when Achille Antonelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute Brayden Bonnison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Carciofo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Cesate's Bruno Carciofo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grégoire Montaigne in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes in the game, Achille Antonelli dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brayden Bonnison in the 61st minute of play forced Cesate's goalkeeper Bruno Carciofo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesate's Bruno Carciofo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Cesate from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, Cesate's goalkeeper Bruno Carciofo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matheo Giraudon.
