After a rather tough play, Schuster's Christian Pollastrini got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Alvaro Mastrangelo made a precise shot to the right of Edmondo Stella. Schuster's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Francesco Ali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Marchetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Alvaro Mastrangelo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Broom of the System DA13 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Schuster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dino Marchetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Broom of the System DA13 were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dino Marchetti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Schuster getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. The supporters of Schuster booed when Broom of the System DA13 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Cannavacciuolo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Mastrangelo in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmondo Stella prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Broom of the System DA13 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Broom of the System DA13 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
