The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antonello Doris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe Tellini, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Primo Portier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynardo Cerrillo in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Federico Sartori had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antonello Doris. Atletico Benevento's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Federico Sartori was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Urbs LC had won after a very even match.
